Flemish Network for Responsible Consumption

What is the Netwerk Bewust Verbruiken?

The Netwerk Bewust Verbruiken (NBV, translated literally as Network Conscientious Consumption) is the Flemish Network for social and ecological responsible consumption: a cooperation between Flemish ngo's active in the fields of environment, third world, consumption, ethical financing, social economy and others. All these organisations signed the NBV Platform Text.

The aim of the NBV is to encourage ethical consumption in Flanders by exchanging information on ethical and ecological consumption, by stimulating cooperation between its member organizations and by setting up campaigns together. In 2001 we launched a campaign on sustainable food consumption on 15th march, The World Consumer Rights Day. In march 2002 we had a campaign on ecological and ethical building, refurbishment and living.
